The Kittinger Furniture Company has a long history of creating high-quality furniture. Established in 1866, Kittinger took advantage of America’s frontier era to build a strong business selling upholstered furniture. All furniture was hand-crafted with the utmost care to meet the demands of the booming market.
Over the centuries, many changes have taken place at Kittinger. However, one thing has not changed, and that is the commitment of its workers to crafting furniture of the very highest quality. Throughout the second half of the 20th century, the ownership of the company changed hands several times. It was eventually bought by Ray and Karen Bialkowski in 1996, who brought back original craftsmen who were lost during a period of mismanagement in 1995. This was the beginning of a “new era of Kittinger,” characterized by innovative designs and a renewed commitment to quality.
Karen and Ray continue to devote themselves to growing Kittinger in the Buffalo area and beyond. The factory and corporate headquarters were recently relocated to Northern Buffalo, where the original philosophy of the Kittinger family continues to drive the business forward. Having already built custom hand crafted furniture for some of the finest private and Government offices inthe United States, The Kittinger Furniture Company looks forward to offering superior furniture designs and craftsmanship to customers in future.
